The biggest surprise of round 1 in U19 League took place in Helsinki where host Rocks (1-0) beat Go Time (1-1) 79-67 on Thursday evening. The game was mostly controlled by Rocks. Go Time managed to win second period 20-19. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Bashkim Grepi (185-0) fired 19 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Forward Juhani Jokio (195-0) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds. Swingman Samatar Abokar (190-1) produced a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds and point guard Leo Fajardo (175-0) added 16 points respectively for lost side. Go Time's coach Justice Graham rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Go Time will play next round against Honka trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Rocks will try to continue on its current victory against HNMKY. It will be extra interesting game as HNMKY is their local rival from Helsinki.
