Very expected game when Chiba Jets (0-2) lost at home to Toshiba Thunders (2-0) 81-72 on Thursday. Toshiba Thunders looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was a very good performance for American forward Shane Edwards (201-87, college: UALR) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. His fellow American import power forward Vernon Macklin (208-86, college: Florida) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Five Toshiba Thunders players scored in double figures.
