Regular Season Round 1: H.Tel-Aviv - Eilat 100-81

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Hapoel Eilat (0-1) on the court of Hapoel Tel-Aviv. Visitors were rolled over by Hapoel Tel-Aviv 100-81. Four Hapoel Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. Hapoel Tel-Aviv's coach Danny Franco allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. American guard Elijah Bryant (196-95, college: BYU, agency: Pensack Sports) came up with 21 points (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and international power forward Idan Zalmanson (206-95) added 20 points (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field) respectively for Hapoel Eilat in the defeat. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will play against Hapoel B/S in Beer Sheva in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hapoel Eilat will play at home against Maccabi T-A (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
