Regular Season Round 3: Toyotsu FE - Tokyo HT 76-81

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Toyotsu FE (2-1) in Nagoya on Saturday night. Hosts were defeated by Tokyo HT (1-2) 81-76. Tokyo HT looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Americans were the main players on the court. It was a great evening for swingman LeBryan Nash (201-92, college: Oklahoma St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 14 rebounds and 7 assists. Power forward Alex Jones (206-87, college: Seattle) helped adding 23 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was center Garrett Stutz (214-90, college: Wichita St.) with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 16 rebounds and forward Josh Hawkinson (208-95, college: Washington St.) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 15 rebounds. Toyotsu FE's coach Ryuji Watanabe rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Tokyo HT will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Toyotsu FE will play again at home against Tokyo HT and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
