Regular Season Round 3: Martorell - Tarragona 71-75

Everything went according to plan when Tarragona (3-0) defeated on the road Martorell (0-3) 75-71 on Saturday. It was a good game for center Ferran Torres (201-88) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Senegalese forward Modou Mbaye (202-94) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Tarragona players scored in double figures. Alberto Valle (186-81) answered with 19 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and power forward Jordi Pujolreu (-96) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Martorell. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Tarragona will face Mataro Feimat (#5) at home in the next round. Martorell will play against Quart (#3) and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
