Regular Season Round 3: Sendai 89ers - Nishinomiya S. 74-73

Important game to mention about took place in Sendai. Sendai 89ers (3-1) saved a 1-point victory at home edging Nishinomiya S. (0-4) 74-73 on Saturday evening. They outrebounded Nishinomiya S. 43-27 including a 33-21 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for American center Daniel Miller (211-91, college: Georgia Tech) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Tyler Harris (208-93, college: Auburn) helped adding 17 points and 12 rebounds. Sendai 89ers' coach Dai Oketani used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was swingman Naoki Tani (193-88) with 21 points and 6 rebounds and American guard Draelon Burns (194-85, college: De Paul) scored 16 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
