Very expected game when Start Lublin II (0-2) was smashed at home by Tur Bielsk Pdl. (1-0) 100-66 on Sunday. Tur Bielsk Pdl. dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Start Lublin II's 26. Tur Bielsk Pdl. forced 22 Start Lublin II turnovers and outrebounded them 49-31 including 18 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Start Lublin II's players. Aaron Weres (197-91) orchestrated the victory by scoring 16 points. Forward Lukasz Kuczynski (194-85) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Tur Bielsk Pdl. players scored in double figures. Guard Jan Piliszczuk (185-0) replied with 12 points and 6 rebounds and guard Bartlomiej Pelczar (186-0) added 7 points and 7 assists in the effort for Start Lublin II. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tur Bielsk Pdl. will face Ostrow Mazow. (#8) in Ostrow Mazowiecki in the next round. Start Lublin II will play on the road against Legia 2 in Warszawa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
