Regular Season Round 4: Baerum Basket - Fyllingen BBK 80-81

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of undefeated Baerum Basket (4-1) in Bekkestua on Sunday night. Hosts were edged by Fyllingen BBK (5-0) 81-80. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Baerum Basket. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Baerum Basket cut a 15-point halftime deficit to one at the end of the game. Fyllingen BBK had a 30-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Baerum Basket helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Fyllingen BBK have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Gimle BBK. Baerum Basket at the other side dropped to the third place with one game lost. Fyllingen BBK is looking forward to face Nidaros Jets (#9) in Tromdheim in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Baerum Basket will play at home against Froya Basket (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
