Regular Season Round 1: GTK Gliwice - MKS DG 77-74

A very interesting game took place in Gliwice. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of MKS Dabrowa Gornicza (0-2) to GTK (1-0) 77-74 on Sunday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard Myles Mack (175-93, college: Rutgers) who helped to win the game recording 25 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists. Piotr Robak (194-91) contributed with 13 points and 4 assists for the winners. GTK's coach Pawel Turkiewicz allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American point guard Trey Davis (183-93, college: Massachusetts) answered with 18 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import forward Cleveland Melvin (203-91, college: De Paul) added 13 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks in the effort for MKS Dabrowa Gornicza. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. GTK's next round opponent will be Stelmet Enea BC in Zielona Gora and it will be for sure the game of the week. MKS Dabrowa Gornicza will play at home against Polpharma (#7) and hope to win that game.
