Regular Season Round 3: KFUM Uppsala - Akropol 59-69

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of KFUM Uppsala (1-1) at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Akropol (3-0) 69-59. The game was mostly controlled by Akropol. KFUM Uppsala was better in fourth quarter 19-14. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. It was an exceptional evening for naturalized Serbian forward Dragan Damjanovic (203-88) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 16 rebounds. Abdullahi Osman (-95) accounted for 7 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Guard Samuel Eliasson Godonou (185-93) came up with 15 points and 9 rebounds and naturalized Greek point guard Mannos Nakos (179-88) added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists respectively for KFUM Uppsala in the defeat. KFUM Uppsala's coach Anders Jonsson rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Akropol will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game.
