An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Hiroshima. Top-ranked Dragonflies faced 4th ranked Bambitious Nara. Host Dragonflies (4-0) smashed guests from Nara (1-2) 86-59. Dragonflies dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Bambitious Nara's 24. They outrebounded Bambitious Nara 37-25 including 28 on the defensive glass. Dragonflies players were unselfish on offense dishing 29 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Jamari Traylor (203-92, college: Kansas) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Point guard Hiryu Okamoto (170-93) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 assists for the winners. Four Dragonflies players scored in double figures. American power forward Gary Hamilton (208-84, college: Miami, FL, agency: Inception Sports) replied with 2 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists and his fellow American import forward Jeffrey Parmer (203-85, college: Florida Atlantic) added 13 points in the effort for Bambitious Nara. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Dragonflies have a solid three-game winning streak. Newly promoted Dragonflies maintains first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Shinshu BW and Cyberdyne IR. Bambitious Nara at the other side keeps the fourth place with two games lost. They share the position with Kagawa FA. Dragonflies will play against Kagawa FA (#5) in Takamatsu in the next round. Bambitious Nara will play on the road against the league's leader Shinshu BW in Nagano to get more than just one victory in their record.
