Regular Season Round 1: Nahariya - Holon 98-95

Date: October 7, 2018
A very interesting game took place in Nahariya. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of Hapoel Holon (0-1) to Ironi Nahariya (1-0) 98-95 on Sunday evening. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Worth to mention a great performance of forward Myke Henry (198-92, college: De Paul) who helped to win the game recording 31 points. Forward Terry Allen (203-93, college: Richmond) contributed with 23 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Forward DeQuan Jones (203-90, college: Miami, FL) answered with 27 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Darion Atkins (203-92, college: Virginia) added 19 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Hapoel Holon. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Ironi Nahariya's next round opponent will be Bnei Hasharon (#7) in Hod Hasharon which should be theoretically an easy game. Hapoel Holon will play on the road against Maccabi Ashdod and hope to win that game.
