Regular Season Round 3: Salt - Igualada 65-90

No shocking result in a game when Igualada (3-0) crushed on the road Salt (1-2) 90-65 on Sunday. They outrebounded Salt 50-32 including a 37-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for center Micky Garcia (205-85, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds. Guard Jaume Torres (187-83) contributed with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Four Igualada players scored in double figures. Guillem Sabates (195-96) answered with 16 points and swingman Marc Juanola (192-92) added 11 points in the effort for Salt. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Igualada will face Mataro Parc Boet at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Salt will play against Valls Nutrion (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
