An interesting game was also a 25-point tough home loss of Tarnowskie Gory in a game versus undefeated AZS AWF Mick. (#4) 90-65. AZS AWF Mick. dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Tarnowskie Gory's 34. Mariusz Piotrkowski (198-84) notched 31 points and 7 rebounds to lead the effort and guard Lukasz Szczypka (185-80) supported him with 29 points and 4 assists. AZS AWF Mick.'s coach felt very confident that he used entire bench and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 21 points and 7 rebounds by center Michal Nikiel (205-83) did not help to save the game for Tarnowskie Gory. Guard Dawid Weiss (188-88) added 12 points for the hosts. AZS AWF Mick. will meet at home Dobrodzien in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tarnowskie Gory will play against Unia Tarnow and hope to win that game.
