Regular Season Round 3: Hammarby - KFUM Blackeberg 90-106

Very important is a home loss of Hammarby (1-1) against KFUM Blackeberg (2-1) on Sunday night. Host Hammarby was defeated by KFUM Blackeberg in Stockholm 106-90. The game was mostly controlled by KFUM Blackeberg. Hammarby managed to win fourth quarter 30-28. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KFUM Blackeberg made 25-of-29 free shots (86.2 percent) during the game. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 61.9 percentage. The best player for the winners was forward Joacim Edlund (195-93) who scored 22 points and 7 rebounds. Swingman Daniel Persson (198-91) chipped in 21 points and 6 rebounds. Four KFUM Blackeberg players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was guard Ramendra Haag (187-90) who recorded 26 points and 7 rebounds and forward Leo Lightner (190-96) added 23 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. KFUM Blackeberg will meet at home Taby Basket in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Hammarby will play against KFUM Lidingo and hope to win that game.
