Regular Season Round 3: KFUM Fryshuset 2 - Kalmar 86-83

A very interesting game took place in Stockholm. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of Kalmar (0-3) to KFUM Fryshuset 2 (1-0) 86-83 on Sunday evening. The hosts started the game with a very strong first quarter 28-14. But Kalmar won second period 21-13. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. KFUM Fryshuset 2 players were unselfish on offense dishing 25 assists. It was a good game for guard Deekh Muhiadin (188-98) who led his team to a victory with 22 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Goran Ahmad (185-99) contributed with 20 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. KFUM Fryshuset 2's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Slovenian Jan Tratnik (190-89) answered with a double-double by scoring 24 points, 15 rebounds and 6 assists and Lucas Engstrom (-92) added 20 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Kalmar. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. KFUM Fryshuset 2's next round opponent will be RIG Mark (#4) in Kinna. Kalmar will play at home against Eskilstuna (#1) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
