But Polfarmex was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Tychy 75-61. GKS Tychy outrebounded Polfarmex 38-26 including 30 on the defensive glass. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 23 assists. Power forward Maciej Maj (200-88) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Michal Jankowski (191-87) contributed with 18 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Power forward Michal Marek (208-96) replied with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 blocks and guard Bartosz Majewski (190-97) added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Polfarmex. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. GKS Tychy's next round opponent will be Pruszkow (#16) at home and are hoping to win another game. Polfarmex will play against SKK Siedlce and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
