Goes used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Sayago 82-70 on Monday night. They outrebounded Sayago 46-35 including 32 on the defensive glass. American center Jarred Shaw (208-90, college: Utah St.) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 16 rebounds for the winners. Naturalized Italian center Nicolas Borsellino (202-86, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Naturalized Italian point guard Emiliano Giano (180-89) produced 15 points and 6 assists and forward Fernando Verrone (200-88) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest.
