But Vic was not able to use a home court advantage and was smashed by the opponent from Hospitalet 92-70 on Wednesday night. L'Hospitalet dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Vic's 30. It was a great shooting night for L'Hospitalet especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.6 percentage. Point guard Julian Garrote (185-82) produced 16 points and power forward Nil Sabata (205-96) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the hosts. L'Hospitalet will face Real Murcia (#3) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Vic will play against Moron (#11) in Morón de la Frontera and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
