Regular Season Round 2: Real Murcia - Albacete 77-61

The biggest surprise of round 2 in LEB Silver took place in Murcia where host Real Murcia (2-0) beat Albacete (1-1) 77-61 on Wednesday evening. The game was dominated by American players. The best player for the winners was forward Connor Beranek (198-94, college: Nebraska-Kearney, agency: Duran International) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Forward Deshawn Curtis (198-92, college: Cheyney, agency: Duran International) chipped in 18 points and 8 rebounds. Power forward Marcus Van (201-87, college: Cent.Michigan) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and point guard Jordan Davis (178-91, college: Tampa) added 11 points respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Albacete will play next round against strong Girona Basquet trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Real Murcia will try to continue on its current victory against L'Hospitalet on the road.
