Regular Season Round 3: Lulea Basket - Hogsbo 91-68

Everything went according to plan when Lulea Basket (2-0) outscored at home Hogsbo (0-3) 91-68. The game without a history. Lulea Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 18-of-21 charity shots (85.7 percent) during the game. Lulea Basket forced 21 Hogsbo turnovers. It was a great shooting night for Lulea Basket especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 57.9 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Michaela Houser (170-91, college: Purdue) who led the winners and scored 28 points and 4 assists. The former international forward Allis Nystrom (184-93, agency: ProDep Management) accounted for 12 points and 13 rebounds for the winning side. Four Lulea Basket players scored in double figures. American power forward Alexis Hyder (180-94, college: LSU) came up with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 14 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international forward Hanna Johansson (185-89, college: Alaska-Anch.) added 20 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Hogsbo in the defeat. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Lulea Basket will play against Uppsala (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Hogsbo will play against Wetterbygden and hopes to get finally their first victory.
