Regular Season Round 3: Ryukyu GK - Nagoya DD 88-87

The most exciting game of round 3 in the B League took place in Okinawa. This derby game ended with only one-point defeat on the road of Diamond Dolphins (2-2) to Ryukyu GK (4-0) 88-87 on Friday evening. It was a great shooting night for Ryukyu GK especially from behind the arc, where they had solid 52.4 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Josh Scott (208-93, college: Colorado, agency: Pensack Sports) who had a double-double by scoring 21 points and 11 rebounds. International guard Narito Namizato (172-89) chipped in 16 points and 7 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Justin Burrell (207-88, college: St.John's) who recorded 22 points, 9 rebounds and 8 assists and international guard Shuto Ando (189-94) added 14 points respectively. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Ryukyu GK is again looking forward to face Diamond Dolphins (#4) in Nagoya in the next round. Diamond Dolphins will have a break next round.
