No shocking result in a game when Tokyo Excel. (4-0) beat on the road Tokyo Cinq R. (0-4) 83-77 on Friday. Strangely Tokyo Cinq R. outrebounded Tokyo Excel. 48-34 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a good game for American forward Jordan Faison (201-94, college: Cal Poly Pomona) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. His fellow American import center Ryan Stephan (208-94, college: Colorado Mesa) contributed with 13 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. American center Joe Wolfinger (216-85, college: Citadel) answered with a double-double by scoring 36 points (!!!) and 16 rebounds and Senegalese Bira Seck (204-90, college: Idaho, agency: Interperformances) added 7 points and 15 rebounds in the effort for Tokyo Cinq R.Tokyo Excel. will face Iwate Big Bulls (#5) at home in the next round.
