Regular Season Round 3: Trefl II Sopot - Tarnovia 73-87

There was a surprise result when Tarnovia (1-2) defeated on the road Trefl II Sopot (0-2) 87-73 on Saturday. Tarnovia forced 21 Trefl II Sopot turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Trefl II Sopot was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a great evening for forward Milosz Sroczynski (195-90) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. Point guard Pawel Mowlik (185-89) helped adding 11 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Tarnovia players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was point guard Wiktor Rajewicz (178-0) with 18 points and power forward Mateusz Zozun (202-0) scored 15 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Tarnovia will have a break next round. Trefl II Sopot will play on the road against Pelplin (#2) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
