Regular Season Round 3: Pogon Prudnik - Kotwica 82-79

A very interesting game took place in Prudnik. It ended with only three-point defeat on the road of Kotwica (0-3) to Pogon Prudnik (2-1) 82-79 on Saturday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. It was an exceptional evening for Tomasz Prostak (188-88, agency: Octagon Europe) who led the winners and scored 22 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Forward Wojciech Pisarczyk (201-88) accounted for 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side. Swingman Damian Janiak (195-89, agency: Promotex) came up with 12 points and 8 rebounds and Jakub Zalewski (184-86) added 17 points respectively for Kotwica in the defeat. Five Pogon Prudnik and four Kotwica players scored in double figures. Kotwica's coach Dawid Mieczkowski tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Pogon Prudnik's next round opponent will be Polonia Leszno (#6) on the road. Kotwica will play against STK Czarni (#3) in Slupsk and hopes to get finally their first victory.
