Regular Season Round 4: Andujar - Cazorla 76-71

There was a surprise result when seventh ranked Andujar (1-1) defeated at home much higher ranked Cazorla (1-1) 76-71 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Bernardo Castillo (196-88) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 6 rebounds and forward Rafael Ramos (195-86) who added 16 points during the contest. Four Andujar players scored in double figures. At the losing side American forward Dante Thompson (201, college: Goldey-Beacom) responded with 25 points and 9 rebounds and his fellow American import point guard Cody Halvorson (183, college: NW Oklahoma St.) scored 16 points and 7 rebounds. Cazorla's coach Francis Sanchez tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Andujar left bottom position moving up to fifth place in Group D-A, which they share with defeated Cazorla. Andujar will face higher ranked Marbella (#3) on the road in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Cazorla will play against Martos and hope to win that game.
