Regular Season Round 3: Hutnik W-wa - Siarka 81-64

There was a minor upset in Warszawa where Siarka (1-1) was defeated by Hutnik W-wa (2-1) 81-64 on Saturday. Hutnik W-wa outrebounded Siarka 43-32 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for Wojciech Dulnik (188-92) who led his team to a victory scoring 24 points and 6 rebounds. Forward Maciej Cukierda (195-91) helped adding 18 points and 10 rebounds. Hutnik W-wa's coach Axel Olesiewicz allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was Artur Mikolajko (197-79) with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 14 rebounds and Piotr Pandura (197-95) scored 10 points and 4 assists. Hutnik W-wa will face Start Lublin II (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Siarka will play against AZS UMCS Lbn (#4) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the 1Liga just one year after relegation.
