Regular Season Round 3: Iwate Big Bulls - Koshigaya A. 79-88

Koshigaya A. (6-0) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat Iwate Big Bulls (2-4) 88-79. Koshigaya A. dominated down low during the game scoring 68 of its points in the paint compared to Iwate Big Bulls' 42. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American Kyle Richardson (201-91, college: Portland St.) who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. His fellow American import Josh Peppers (201-85, college: Cent.Florida) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was American Titus Robinson (201-90, college: Buffalo) who recorded 26 points and 9 rebounds and guard Tatsunori Fujie (184-87) added 19 points and 5 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Koshigaya A. will have a break next round. Iwate Big Bulls will play on the road against Tokyo Excel. (#2) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the B2 League just one year after relegation.
