Regular Season Round 4: Prishtina - Bashkimi 111-63

Undefeated leader Prishtina delivered the fourth consecutive victory. This time they crushed 5th ranked Bashkimi (1-3) 111-63. Prishtina dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Bashkimi's 24. Prishtina had a 31-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 30 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Bashkimi's players. The winners were led by American point guard Kyan Anderson (180-92, college: TCU, agency: Two Points) who scored that evening 21 points and 8 assists (perfect from the field making all eight shots !!!) and the former international Dardan Berisha (191-88) supported him with 21 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Five Prishtina players scored in double figures. Even 19 points and 8 rebounds by American forward Jordan Capps (201-95, college: SE Louisiana) did not help to save the game for Bashkimi. His fellow American import point guard Mike Martin (183-93, college: Cent.Arkansas) added 8 points and 9 rebounds for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Prishtina have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record, which they share with Rahoveci. Defending champion Bashkimi keeps the fifth place with three games lost. Prishtina's next round opponent will be Xhebrailat (#4) in Therande. Bashkimi will play at home against Lipjani and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
