Regular Season Round 2: Go Time - Honka 68-78

There was a small surprise in Helsinki where Honka (1-2) defeated Go Time (1-2) 78-68 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Honka. Go Time managed to win second period 18-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Honka forced 24 Go Time turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Guard Tommi Wuorenjuuri (187-1) scored 15 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Alvar Peltoniemi (196-1) chipped in 13 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. Forward Abdimaalik Yusuf (195-1) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and center Federiko Federiko (205-1) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 5 blocks. Five Honka and four Go Time players scored in double figures. Honka will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Go Time's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Helsinki to the arena HoNsU.
