DSN defeated Jugla in Riga 67-60. The hosts trailed by 2 points after three quarters before their 22-13 charge, which allowed them to win the game. DSN outrebounded Jugla 58-42 including a 41-30 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a good game for point guard Pauls Miglinieks (164-0) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Center Aigars Hermanis (205-1) contributed with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four DSN players scored in double figures. Guard Julijs Stankevics (161-1) answered with 19 points and 5 rebounds and guard Renars Karklins (175-1) added 8 points in the effort for Jugla. Jugla's coach Janis Laksa rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Jugla will play next round against Jekabpils trying to get back on the winning streak. DSN will try to continue on its current victory against BJBS/Pardaug.. It will be extra interesting game as BJBS/Pardaug. is their local rival from Riga.
