Regular Season Round 3: Bolzano BK - Ponzano 67-48

There was a minor upset when Ponzano (1-2) was rolled over on the road by Bolzano BK (1-2) 67-48 on Saturday. Bolzano BK forced 20 Ponzano turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Elisa Mancabelli (173-94) who scored 14 points. Guard Maria-Daniela Servillo (170-89) chipped in 8 points, 5 assists and 5 steals. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Giulia Brotto (182-91) who recorded 15 points and 8 rebounds and Lucrezia Coser (-98) added 5 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Bolzano BK will face Udine (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ponzano will play against Varese (#16) and hope to win that game.
