Regular Season Round 4: Olivar - Salou 85-75

Date: October 13, 2018
Everything could happen in Zaragoza at the game between two tied teams. Both tenth ranked Olivar and 7th ranked Salou had identical 1-2 record. This time Olivar used a home court advantage and won against the opponent from Salou 85-75 on Saturday night. Worth to mention a great performance of center Jaime Pradilla (206-1) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 23 points and 10 rebounds and Venezuelan power forward Jose Ascanio (204-96) who added 14 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American Everrett Pleasant (198-92, college: Tex.A&M-Comm.) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds and forward Marc Morales (200-80) scored 12 points and 6 rebounds. Five Olivar and four Salou players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Olivar (2-2) moved-up to seventh place in Group C-A, which they share with Castellbisbal and Esparreguera. Salou lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team dropped to the bottom position with three games lost. Olivar will face Martorell (#14) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Salou will play against Esparreguera (#7) and hope to win that game.
