Regular Season Round 2: Fiat TO - Alma TR 86-74

An interesting game took place in Torino where Alma TR (0-2) was upset on the court of Fiat TO (1-1) 86-74 on Saturday. American guard Tony Carr (196-97, college: Penn St.) scored 20 points to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Jamil Wilson (201-90, college: Marquette) chipped in 14 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Fiat TO's coach used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Latvian Arturs Strautins (198-98) responded with 18 points and 6 rebounds and the former international point guard Daniele Cavaliero (188-84) scored 19 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Fiat TO will face Grissin Bon RE (#6) in Reggio Emilia in the next round. Alma TR will play at home against Germani BR (#8) and hope to win that game.
