Regular Season Round 5: Bourg - Chalons-Reims 102-83

We should mention about the upset which took place in Bourg, where higher ranked Chalons-Reims (2-2) was outleveled in a road game by thirteenth ranked JL Bourg (3-2) 102-83 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Chalons-Reims. JL Bourg made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. They outrebounded Chalons-Reims 38-21 including a 15-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. JL Bourg moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 5 other teams. Loser Chalons-Reims dropped to the tenth position with two games lost. JL Bourg will face league's second-placed JDA Dijon on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Chalons-Reims will play against Monaco (#15) and hope to win that game.
