Regular Season Round 4: L'Horta Godella - Valencia II 67-77

There was a small surprise when sixth ranked Valencia-2 (1-1) defeated on the road one of their biggest challengers L'Horta Godella (1-1) 77-67 on Sunday. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Alejandro Rivas (203-98) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and point guard Guillem Ferrando (186-2) who added 16 points and 4 assists during the contest. Five Valencia-2 players scored in double figures. At the losing side point guard Daniel Zafon (179-95) responded with 19 points and guard Sergio Solas (193-94) scored 8 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Valencia-2 left bottom position moving up to third place in Group E-A, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated L'Horta Godella. Valencia-2 will face Aldaia (#7) at home in the next round. L'Horta Godella will play against Paterna (#6) and hope to win that game.
