Moron used a home court advantage and edged the opponent from Vic 71-69 on Sunday night. It was a good game for forward Jon Aramburu (204-92, agency: Duran International) who led his team to a victory with 20 points and 4 assists. American forward Tanner Omlid (196-93, college: W.Oregon) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Aramburu is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. American forward Kyle Benton (201-95, college: N.C.Central) answered with 15 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Roger Fornas (202-82) added 13 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Vic. Four Vic players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Moron will face Real Murcia on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Vic will play against Almansa (#4) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
