Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Pardinyes-L. (4-0) beat on the road 10th ranked Castelldefels (1-3) 75-67 on Sunday. They outrebounded Castelldefels 37-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of American power forward Wendell Davis (198-95, college: Ashland, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who helped to win the game recording 14 points and 4 assists and forward Carles Gasque (198-93) who added 15 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Five Pardinyes-L. players scored in double figures. At the losing side center Marc Bernadi (205-93) responded with 19 points (perfect from the field making all nine shots !!!) and forward Eric Manes (194-87) scored 15 points. Castelldefels' coach Raul Martinez let to play ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Pardinyes-L. have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of Group C-B leader. Loser Castelldefels dropped to the eleventh place with three games lost. Pardinyes-L. will face Barbera (#9) in Barcelona in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Castelldefels will play at home against Vive El Masnou and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
