Regular Season Round 4: Betanzos - Culleredo 75-79

Culleredo's road win over one of their biggest challengers Betanzos 79-75 was very exciting. It was a key game for the top position in Group A-B. Worth to mention a great performance of Georgian swingman Luka Bulashvili (192-98, agency: Dynamics Global Management) who helped to win the game recording 30 points and 6 rebounds and American forward Trevin Woods (198, college: Arkansas Tech) who added 16 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side Senegalese power forward Abdou Thiam (204-98) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 13 rebounds and Daniel Martin (188-97) scored 19 points and 4 assists. Betanzos' coach Ivan Villaverde tried various players' combinations and tested in total eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Culleredo (1-0) keeps a position of Group A-B leader, which they share with 6 other teams. Loser Betanzos still closes the standings with one game lost. Culleredo will face league's leader Carbajosa at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Betanzos will play against Estudiantes L. (#4) in Lugo and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
