The game had a very big importance for sixth-ranked Ardoi as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group A-A. Ardoi smashed bottom-ranked Pas Pielagos in Zizur Mayor 85-59. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with 6 other teams. Pas Pielagos at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They share the position with 6 other teams. Pas Pielagos will play next round against Easo trying to get back on the winning streak. Ardoi will try to continue on its current victory against fourteenth ranked Solares on the road.
