Regular Season Round 3: La Roda - Azuqueca 75-80

Rather predictable result when Azuqueca (2-1) won against on the road La Roda (0-3) 80-75 on Sunday. Azuqueca shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 56.5 percentage. It was a good game for American guard Ervin Mitchell (193-94, college: Grambling St.) who led his team to a victory with 26 points and 4 assists. Nigerian forward Jeffrey Solarin (193-92, college: Idaho St.) contributed with 15 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Forward Jose Blazquez (197-97) answered with 22 points and 8 rebounds and Dominican forward Gregorio Adon (198-91) added 19 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for La Roda. Four La Roda players scored in double figures. Azuqueca will face HLA Alicante (#5) at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. La Roda will play against Villarrobledo (#3) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
