Regular Season Round 3: Valladolid - Real Betis 74-67

Carramimbre used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Sevilla 74-67 on Sunday night. Carramimbre forced 19 Real Betis turnovers. It was a great evening for center Sergio De La Fuente (198-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds. American center Bradley Hayes (213-94, college: Georgetown) helped adding 12 points. The best for the losing side was American-Liberian swingman Thomas Bropleh (196-91, college: Boise St., agency: Duran International) with 10 points and 6 rebounds and American center Matt Stainbrook (208-92, college: Xavier) scored 12 points. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Carramimbre will face Palma (#6) in S'Arenal in the next round. Real Betis will play at home against Araberri (#16) and hope to win that game and get promotion back to the Liga Endesa just one year after relegation.
