Atletico's coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Mariangel Concha responded with 9 points and 11 rebounds and Maria Garcia scored 17 points. Atletico moved-up to third place, which they share with Aguilas. Amazonas lost fourth consecutive game. Amazonas at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the fifth position with five games lost. Atletico will face Aguilas (#4) in the next round. Amazonas will play against Universitarias and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
