Regular Season Round 6: Sendai 89ers - Gunma 48-70

The game between Top Four teams took place in Sendai. Second-best host Sendai 89ers (4-2) were smashed by third ranked Gunma (4-2) 70-48. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Sendai 89ers. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Gunma moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Sendai 89ers. Gunma's next round opponent will be league's leader Shinshu BW in Nagano and it will be for sure the game of the week. Sendai 89ers will play on the road against Kanazawa Sam. in Ishikawa and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
