Very expected game in Matsuyama where 6th ranked Orange Vikings (1-5) were defeated by first ranked Cyberdyne IR (5-1) 88-82 on Sunday. Cyberdyne IR looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Power forward Carl Baptiste (208-90, college: Delaware) had a double-double by scoring 29 points and 18 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Connor Lammert (206-94, college: Texas) chipped in 25 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Cyberdyne IR players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Andrew Fitzgerald (202-90, college: Oklahoma) with a double-double by scoring 28 points and 15 rebounds and power forward Cory Johnson (202-88, college: Valparaiso) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Orange Vikings' coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Cyberdyne IR maintains first position with 5-1 record. Loser Orange Vikings keep the sixth place with five games lost. Cyberdyne IR will face Yamagata (#5) at home in the next round. Orange Vikings will play against Aomori Watts and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
