Regular Season Round 3: A3 Basket - Uppsala 115-68

A3 Basket smashed Uppsala in Umea 115-68. The game without a history. A3 Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 88 of its points in the paint compared to Uppsala's 32. A3 Basket forced 19 Uppsala turnovers and outrebounded them 36-18 including a 26-14 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists. It was a great evening for American guard Tiffany Brown (165-86, college: Georgia South) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Forward Abigail Asoro (183-93, college: Iowa Western CC) helped adding 21 points and 7 rebounds. Five A3 Basket players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was the former international guard Agnes Nordstrom (180-88) with 18 points and 4 assists (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!) and center Ndey-Ramou Jeng (182-99) scored 14 points (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Uppsala will play next round against strong Lulea Basket trying to get back on the winning streak. A3 Basket will try to continue on its current victory against Mark in Kinna.
