Regular Season Round 4: Jamtland - BC Lulea 92-108

The biggest surprise of round 4 was guest BC Lulea's (4-2) easy road victory over one of their biggest challengers KFUM Jamtland (3-3) 108-92 on Monday evening. It was a key game for the second position in the league. The guests trailed by 2 points at the halftime before their 60-42 charge in the second half, which allowed them to win the game. BC Lulea looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. American swingman Tavarius Shine (198-94, college: Oklahoma St.) fired 26 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. The other American import guard Corban Collins (190-94, college: Alabama) chipped in 28 points and 5 assists. DR Congolese power forward Evariste Shonganya (204-92) produced a double-double by scoring 13 points, 13 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 blocks and American power forward RT Guinn (208-81, college: Baylor) added 16 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. Four BC Lulea and five KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. BC Lulea have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Boras. KFUM Jamtland lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. BC Lulea is looking forward to face Boras Basket (#3) at home in the next round, which may be the game of the day. KFUM Jamtland will play against Koping Stars and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
