Regular Season Round 2: Nahariya - Bnei Hertzeliya 77-93

Ironi Nahariya (1-1) recorded a loss at the home court. Hosts were defeated by Bnei Hasharon (1-1) 93-77. Bnei Hasharon dominated down low during the game scoring 66 of its points in the paint compared to Ironi Nahariya's 42. American forward Jeff Adrien (201-86, college: Connecticut) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points and 8 rebounds. International Karam Mashour (198-91, college: Morehead St.) contributed with 14 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Four Bnei Hasharon players scored in double figures. American forward Myke Henry (198-92, college: De Paul) replied with 33 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) and Canadian guard Justin Edwards (190-92, college: Kansas St.) added 12 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in the effort for Ironi Nahariya. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Bnei Hasharon will play against Maccabi Ashdod (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ironi Nahariya will play against Maccabi Rishon (#12) in Rishon Le-Zion to get more than just one victory in their record.
