Very predictable result when Unieuro Forli (2-0) edged at home Tezenis VER (0-2) 67-65 on Monday. However just two-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. American center Kenny Lawson (207-88, college: Creighton) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international swingman Pierpaolo Marini (193-93, agency: Players Group) chipped in 13 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists during the contest. The former international forward Mattia Udom (200-93) responded with 8 points and 21 rebounds and the former international power forward Francesco Candussi (211-94) scored 20 points and 9 rebounds. Tezenis VER's coach Luca Dalmonte rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Unieuro Forli will face Termoforgia JE (#10) in Jesi in the next round where they are favorite. Tezenis VER will play at home against Pompea MNV (#12) and hope to win that game.
