Hapoel B/S smashed Hapoel Tel-Aviv in Beer Sheva 105-73. Hapoel B/S forced 23 Hapoel Tel-Aviv turnovers. They shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 56.3 percentage. Hapoel B/S looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American Taylor Braun (201-91, college: N.Dakota St.) who scored 24 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 8 steals. The other American import guard Semaj Christon (190-92, college: Xavier) chipped in 21 points and 8 assists. American Jamal Shuler (191-86, college: VCU) produced 11 points, 7 rebounds and 7 assists and international Tomer Ginat (202-94, agency: Avi Zilberman) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for the guests. Five Hapoel B/S and four Hapoel Tel-Aviv players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Hapoel Tel-Aviv will play next round against Galil Gilboa trying to get back on the winning streak. Hapoel B/S will try to continue on its current victory against Maccabi T-A in Tel-Aviv.
